"Good Deal Until the Fees Showed Up"
I used Beneplace thinking I was getting a better deal, but then the extra fees popped up later and kind of ruined it. Maybe I missed the fine print, but stuff like that should be way more obvious before checkout. It feels like one of those policy loopholes where they technically disclosed it somewhere, but not in a way that helps the customer. Not the worst experience ever, just annoying enough that I trust it less now

"Not really worth browsing, right?"
I checked it out, but there just wasn’t much decent stuff there. It felt like the same few brands kept popping up over and over again, and after a while I was like, am I missing something? I don’t think it’s really worth checking that often unless they add more variety.

I placed an order through beneplace and, the whole fulfillment process was kind of a mess. I got the confirmation email, which was nice I guess, and then basically heard nothing for days. No helpful tracking, no clear updates, just me sitting around wondering if my order had quietly disappeared into the void. I ended up having to reach out myself, and even then I didn’t really get a straight answer. Maybe other people have had better luck, which must be nice, but my experience was disappointing. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to use them again.

"Setting up my account was way more frustrating than it should’ve been"
I expected the signup process to be simple, but it turned into a headache fast. The site kept looping me around, and then it said my info didn’t match even though I was using the exact details from my employer.
I tried the reset link a few times too, but either it threw an error or just never showed up. Compared to other discount or benefits sites I’ve used, this one felt really clunky and confusing, especially for something that should be quick to set up.

There also wasn’t much clear guidance on what to do next, so I just ended up giving up after wasting way too much time. The deals might be fine, but if you can’t even get into your account easily, that’s a rough first impression.

"Vendor experience wasn't great"
I tried one of the vendors listed there it was frustrating. The order updates came in really slowly, and when I reached out to support, I just kept getting passed from one person to another without anyone actually fixing the issue. I get that things can go wrong sometimes, but this was annoying enough that I probably won't use it again.

"A little tricky to find things"
I like the place overall, but I do find myself wandering around sometimes trying to locate specific items. It’s usually little things too, like I’ll be looking for one particular size or flavor and end up checking the same shelf twice because the labels or layout don’t quite make it obvious. Not a huge deal, but it can be a bit frustrating when I’m in a hurry.

Not gonna lie, trying to buy the deal was more frustrating than it should’ve been. The checkout page kept loading forever, and my card got declined twice with no clear reason why

"Decent overall, but shipping felt dragged out"
My order went through without any issues, but the shipping definitely took longer than I thought it would. I did get updates here and there, but they were slow, almost like they only sent them after I started wondering what was going on. The item showed up fine once it finally arrived, so I can’t say it was a bad experience, but it did make me wonder if delivery speed just isn’t a big priority for Beneplace. Not terrible, just wish they were quicker about getting orders out.

"I use Beneplace every now and then…"
I use Beneplace every now and then for work discounts, and once I’m actually into the site, it does the job. The deals are easy to browse, and the site itself is simple enough to figure out without much effort. The login is really the only thing that gets on my nerves. Sometimes I get in right away, and other times it just spins, stalls, or makes me reset stuff even when I know I entered everything correctly. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s definitely annoying enough that I’d land at 3 stars.

The prices were clear enough, I mean I didn’t really feel like I had to dig around or guess what I was going to be charged, which is always nice because I hate when that part gets confusing. It was easy to understand overall.

"Decent Savings, But I Still Compare First"
I booked a hotel through Beneplace and did save a little, which was nice. That said, I wouldn’t just assume it’s always the best deal. I checked a few other travel sites too, and some were close in price or even cheaper at times. So for me, it’s worth using, but I’d still compare before booking just to make sure I’m not missing a better rate.

I bought a gift card through Beneplace because I figured it would be quick and easy, like buying an e-gift card on Amazon or Target or even just grabbing one from Starbucks online. But it ended up being way more annoying than I expected. My order sat as pending for a while, so I kept checking my email over and over, like my inbox, spam folder, promotions tab, everything. When the card finally showed up, the instructions weren’t super clear, and the link was acting weird on my phone, kind of freezing, kind of redirecting, kind of making me wonder if I was doing something wrong. I reached out to support and they did respond, which I appreciate, but the reply felt generic, like one of those copy-and-paste answers you get from a bank, an airline, or a cable company that doesn’t really answer the actual question. I did get the gift card in the end, so it wasn’t a complete disaster or anything, but it definitely wasn’t smooth. I probably wouldn’t use it again unless I had no other option.

"Got Confused and Didn’t Feel Safe Checking Out"
I ended up stopping at checkout because the payment page just felt kind of sketchy to me. It didn’t show much security info, so I wasn’t really comfortable putting in my card details. What made it more confusing was that the email said one thing, but the checkout page seemed to say another, so I wasn’t sure what to trust. Maybe everything is fine, but I didn’t feel confident enough to finish the order.

I did end up getting the return processed, so I can’t say it didn’t work. But wow, it took way longer than I expected. At one point I was wondering if they make it slow on purpose so people just give up and keep the item. Maybe that’s the whole system, who knows. In the end it got handled, but the waiting around was frustrating.

The site itself works okay, but compared to other sites I’ve used, it felt like it was asking for a lot more personal info upfront. I also had to dig around to find the privacy details, and even then they weren’t super easy to understand. I ended up barely using it because I wasn’t really sure where my data was going or how it would be handled.

"Frustrating on mobile"
I tried using beneplace on my phone, it was frustrating. To be fair, maybe the desktop version works better, but on mobile the pages were slow to load, some buttons didn’t respond the way they should, and I ended up having to start over twice. After a while, it just felt like more trouble than it was worth.

"Pretty good experience overall"
I’ve used beneplace a few times now, and overall it’s been easy to deal with. The info was mostly clear, and the emails literally told me what I needed to do without dumping a bunch of extra stuff on me. One page was a little confusing at first, but support got back to me quickly and cleared it up. Good overall.
